　私はＤａｖｉｄ　Sａｋｒｉｓｏｎの著作「まぼろしの渡り鳥を追いかけて」を読んでみたくなりました。
著作本を、国内のＡＭＡＺＯＮで探したが見つかりませんでした。
私は他に方法がみつからなかったので、著者に直接購入方法を問い合わせてみました。
彼は米国の書籍通販サイトを紹介してくれました。
　日本のサイトのインターネット通販で本を注文する場合は緊張感があります。
米国のインターネット通販では英語をしっかり理解しないと入力できないので緊張感は高いです。
挑戦してみないことには始まらないので、挑戦してみることにしました。
私がやってみると、殆ど国内でＡＭＡＺＯＮで注文する時と同じであることがわかりました。
本は１〜３週間で届くそうです。送料は本の値段とほぼ同じになりました。
円高なので、合計２６ドルですがたいした値段ではありませんでした。

Other way because I found, I tried to contact the author directly how to purchase.

There is also tension when I order a book on Internet shopping sites in Japan.
Internet shopping in the U.S. do understand the tension so high I can not enter without the English.
Seen to start to try, so I decided to give it a try.
When I try, I find it the same as when I order in the country almost AMAZON.
This is likely arrive in 1-3 weeks. Shipping is about the same price and book now.

　夏休みに入る時、私のマーリンエンジンは、趣味の作品として世界的に通用するような気持ちになりました。
米国でスピットファイヤーの模型を作っている人に私のマーリンエンジンを紹介するメールを送ってみました。
その方も、機体は製作せず、紙でマーリンエンジンだけを製作していたことが動機です。
私のホームページはそのために英語の解説を追加しました。
　短い返事をいただいたことがきっかけで、ホームページ上にある私の父の物語を英訳して読んでもらいました。
そうしたところ、その方のお父様も戦争中に軍用の飛行機に乗っていたことがわかりました。

彼のお住まいの近くにEAAという米国の航空文化を広める施設があり、そこで模型の展示会が開催されているそうです。
彼は自家用飛行機のライセンスもお持ちのようで、以前所属していた飛行クラブの写真をいただきました。
日本もいつかは、米国並の飛行機文化を持ちたいものです。
